Finland’s unofficial SM tournament, proudly presented by Swagykarp, brings together players competing for the title of Finnish Pokémon TCG Champion.
Alongside the tournament, there will also be side activities and programs for players and collectors.
Whether you're a competitive player or a passionate collector, this is an event you won't want to miss! Join fellow fans and celebrate your love for Pokémon together!

Finland’s largest unofficial Pokémon TCG tournament. The main tournament lasts two days.

A prize pool in products worth over €3000, with the top 64 players being rewarded.

A collectors’ meetup and side events will be held alongside the tournament.

Program Details:

Vendors
The event will feature independent vendors specializing in Pokémon merchandise. Visitors can browse trading cards, accessories, and collectibles, whether they are new to the hobby or longtime enthusiasts.
Pick-a-Pack
A casual, beginner-friendly Pokémon TCG event where participants pay €15 and receive three booster packs and energy cards.
The booster packs are opened on-site, and players build a 20-card deck using the cards from one booster pack along with energy cards. Three rounds will be played, with a new booster pack opened at the start of each round.
Quiz
Test your Pokémon knowledge in our fun Pokémon Quiz! Participation is free for all event attendees, and all you need to join is a phone and an internet connection. Top performers will be rewarded with prizes!
Board Games
Take a moment to sit back and relax with the Pokémon Labyrinth board game, or challenge your friends to a fun game of Furret Bowling!
VGC Tournament (Sunday)
On Sunday, there will also be a Pokémon VGC (Video Game Championships) tournament with prizes! Registration will take place on-site on the day of the event. Participation requires either a SM Tournament ticket or a Visitor Pass. €10 to enter.
Mid Season Tournament (Sunday)
On Sunday, the Swagykarp Mid-Season Tournament will take place! Prizes include a Booster Box and an official Play! Pokémon playmat. The tournament will be played in the Standard format using a best-of-one structure. Registration will be available on-site on the day of the event. Participation requires either a SM Tournament ticket or a Visitor Pass. €10 to enter.
GLC Tournament (Sunday)
On Sunday, join our GLC (Gym Leader Challenge) tournament and compete for prizes!
Registration will take place on-site on the day of the event. Participation requires either a Championship Tournament ticket or a Visitor Pass. €10 to enter.

Road to the SM tournaments

Throughout June & July there will be Road to the SM events across Finland!
These events are being held by awesome card stores all across the country.
Not only are these events a perfect warm up for the main event, you can also compete in these events for a chance to earn yourself a head start with a Round One Bye in this years main event!

SM-tournament 2025

The 2025 SM competition brought together nearly 100 players from across Finland to compete for the championship. It was the largest unofficial Pokémon TCG tournament in Finland, offering an exciting competitive atmosphere and a community-focused event day for all participants. Over €1,000 worth of prizes were awarded, making the event both highly regarded and an unforgettable highlight of the Finnish Pokémon competitive season.
